I’m Sandhra Tony a graphic designer/illustrator, now a small business owner with a love for books and quiet corners. Studio Ma (間) is a quiet pursuit, born from a desire to bring art and design into everyday life.
Beyond a brand offering stationery, lifestyle products, and design services, Studio Ma (間) is a space that invites you to pause, notice, and find stories in the quiet ordinary.

My roots lie in Kerala and the misty hill towns of southern India where I grew up. The stillness of those places along with the companionship of books and good cinema deeply shaped me as an artist and their traces often find their way into my illustrations.

When I finally felt the pull to bring my art under one roof, I began searching for a name that felt like home, one that reflected the quiet joy I always returned to. The kind found in stillness, in moments we often overlook. The pause between songs, the empty space in a painting, the wait as the barista makes your coffee and all those fleeting moments that so often go unnoticed.

There was a word for it, Ma (間).
A Japanese concept that celebrates the beauty of absence, the pause that holds meaning. It now lies at the heart of everything we do.
